Abie and his wife met when they were 18 years old in 1950 and were married one year later on March 31, 1951. Abie was the happiest when he was working.  He kept busy working at each of his children's homes where he left them with very special memories. If you told him you were thinking about doing something at your home, he would start drawing up plans and would be at your home bright and early the next day.

On September 23, 2018 Abie was put on hospice at his home where is family took care of him, along with Ambercare.
