Adolph S. Lucero, 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his wife Christina Lucero, son David Martinez and brother Jimmy Lucero.
Adolph is survived by his daughter Cecilia (Alex) Fajardo; brother George Lucero; daughter-in-law Michelle; grandchildren John & Diana Romero, Chris & Joann Romero, Davida & Paul Detar, Shella & Mike Reiswig, and Krista & Jim Viso; great-grandchildren Angela Sandoval, Seth Romero, Christiana Romero, Jenna Rios, Ambrose Romero, Layla Romero, Aliyah Romero, Abram Romero, Mary Loraine Detar, Polly Detar, David Detar, Lucien Detar, Samuel Detar, Charlee Reiswig and Wyatt Reiswig; great-great-grandchildren Jerome and Adriana Sandoval; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was a proud WWII Veteran, served in the battle of the Bulge, a retired Captain of 25 years in the City of Albuquerque Fire Department, and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed all sports. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Adolph's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Church, located at 300 Mildred Ave NW, 87107. Mass will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow Services at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Romero, Chris Romero, Seth Romero, and Jenna Rios.
