Albert Lucero

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Albert Lucero on Wednesday, May 06, 2026. Albert was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Albert was preceded in death by his beloved dad Reynaldo Lucero.

He is survived by his loving mother Lucy Lucero; sisters: Sophia Lucero and Jay Wagner, Christine Aguilar and Eugene Aguilar; nieces and nephews: Melissa and Sean Escarcida, Nicole Morlan, Hollie Lucero, Mark Aguilar, Tiffany and Jason Gil, Nicholas Aguilar; great-nieces and nephews: Isaiah Escarcida and Latisha, Mariah Escarcida and Que, Raven, Savannah, Faith, Jonah, Nikko, Emilia and Antonio, Amaya, Jazlynn, Elena, Lily, Elias, and Luciano; great-great-nieces and nephews: Illian, Esias, Ramaiah, Willow, Messiah, Rue, Alayiah, Amiriana, and Emiliano; also dear friends: Cheryl, Brenda, and Margie.

He graduated from Valley High School and was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Albert was currently employed with Lowe’s. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and he enjoyed dancing, and football--Go Broncos!!

INTO THE ARMS OF JESUS, REST IN PEACE, WE LOVE YOU! DANCING IN THE SKY!!!!

Albert's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday May 22, 2026, at 9:00am at Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 Fourth St NW, 87107. Rosary will be recited at 9:30am. Mass will begin at 10:00am. Albert will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Mark Aguilar, Nicholas Aguilar, Eugene Aguilar, Jason Gil, Isaiah Escarcida, Jay Wagner, Shavon Escarcida, and Antonio Cordova.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Elias Gil and Luciano Gil.
