Alex Sandoval, 88, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Alex Sandoval was born on June 12, 1936. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather.

Alex is survived by his wife Cecilia M. Sandoval of 68 years of marriage; sons, Alex A. Sandoval (Griselda); Rick F. Sandoval; daughter, Sandra L. Jones (Randy); sister, Gloria Griego; brother, Raymond Sandoval (Rose); granddaughters, Alexis Abbatantuono (Guy), Daisia Sandoval, Meghan Jones, Ashley Mohler (Ben), Melissa Montoya; grandsons Mark Sandoval, Gabby, Jonathan Sandoval (Danielle), Zachary Sandoval (Allyson), Aaron Sandoval (Pilar), Alejandro Sandoval, Sean Sandoval (Jason), Corey Jones (Brittanie), Tyler Jones, Ricky Sandoval (Lizeth); great grandchildren, Amelia Abbatantuono, Emma and Alyssa Mohler, Aaron Jr., Aryana, Olivia Sandoval, Drago and Everly Sandoval, Emanuel Sandoval; sister-in-law, Rachel Montano.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Barbara Sandoval; brother, Rey Sandoval; sisters, Alice Garcia, Esther Salazar, Rose Barela, Chela Moya, Helen Sandoval.

Alex was in the National Guard for six years

Alex's life celebration will begin with a visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 8:15 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m.
