Alice "Jeannie" Combs

Alice "Jeannie" Combs, born December 5, 1937, in Gary, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Combs on March 30, 2018, and sister-in law Joan Remlinger.

She is survived by her daughter Jodi Wilcoxen-Garcia (Joe) of ABQ NM, brother Arnold Garwood, sisters: Leah Fouts (Ron), Carole Heisserer (Victor), sisters-in-law: Marilyn Hollingsworth, Christine Roberts, Lena Shotts, brother-in-law Bill Combs, Jeannie was blessed with 4 grandchildren and their children: Joanna Privitt (JB), thier children: Luke, Samantha and Abigail, Eric Wilcoxen, his children: Lucy and Maverick, Andrew Garcia (April), their children: Nathan and Derek, Jessica Trujillo (Richard), thier children: Jeremiah, Joshua and Alice.

Jeannie was a faith-filled, thoughtful, and selfless woman who touched many lives through her work with the Young at Heart Choir. Known for her beautiful singing voice, Jeannie's passion for music was evident in her dedication to the choir. Her love for the arts extended to painting, a hobby that brought her immense joy and peace. She was also an excellent cook, often sharing her culinary creations with family, friends and choir members.

Jeannie will be remembered for her selfless spirit, always putting others before herself. Her thoughtful nature and faith-filled life were an inspiration to all who knew her. Jeannie's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her legacy of love, faith, and service will live on.

Jean loved Jesus Christ with all her heart and served her Savior tirelessly. She is robed in God’s Glory and has received her Crown of Life. We are so thankful for the promises of our Lord! We know we will see her again!!
