Anadina "Dina" Cordero, a loving, kind, and gentle soul passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Born on September 22, 1947, in Torreon, New Mexico, Dina's vivacious personality and radiant smile touched many.

Dina was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Geneva Vigil.

Dina is survived by her son Patrick Cordero (wife Melissa), son Eric Cordero (wife Joannie), son Jessie Cordero (partner Maxine) and daughter Sissy Gonzales, 9 grandchildren Chantel, Tamisha, Adrian, Diego, Danyel, MaxxMarie, Lynae, Raelyn and Jessie Lee and 4 great grandchildren.

Known for her upbeat personality, Dina was often found cheering on her children and grandchildren at sports events, attending concerts, rooting for the 49ers, spinning reels at the casinos, and dancing to the tunes of New Mexican music and country melodies.

Dina's purpose in life, however, transcended her hobbies. She sought to imbue joy and laughter in those around her, her children and grandchildren being her universe's center. Her life dedicated to spreading positivity, her presence would always be remembered fondly.

Dina's legacy of love, kindness, and gentleness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. Her memories will be cherished and lived on through her adoring family and friends.

Dina's life celebration will begin with a rosary on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 8:15 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. Dina will be laid to rest at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, 87121. Reception will follow the burial at St. Anne's Parish Hall.
