Anselmo Chaparro Medina, Sr., 73, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Anselmo is preceded in death by his father Jose Chaparro, mother Tomasa Medina, brothers; Felix Chaparro, Pedro Chaparro, Vicente Chaparro, sister Faustina Chaparro, brother in law Pedro Hernandez, brother in law Leroy Valdez, and nephew Santa Martinez.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Isidra Chaparro Sanchez, sons; Julio Chaparro, Anselmo Chaparro, Jr. (Erika), daughters; Sandra Chaparro (Joe Ray Vaiza), Blanca Chaparro (Felix Martinez), sisters; Socorro Hernandez Chaparro, Eva Valdez Chaparro, Patricia Chaparro Lee (Robert), niece Noemi Hernandez, cousin Eustaquia Gutierrez, also 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Anselmo's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:00 am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, 87121.
