Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Armelina "Mellie" Chavez, 90, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

Armelina is survived by her son Dennis Salazar (Valerie); daughters: Anna Ayala (Jack), Marilyn Sanchez (Jerry); sister Perla Torres, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Armelina's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary will be recited on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, 87105. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Armelina will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Salazar, Jr., Dennis Salazar, Jr., Christopher Salazar, Jack Ayala, Jr., Russell Vicker, and Roger Chavez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jay Munoz and Matthew Salazar.
