Arturo Gonzalez Ramirez

April 20, 1962 — April 13, 2026

Arturo Gonzalez Ramirez passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Arturo is survived by his beloved children: Yvette Gonzalez, Arturo "Junior" Gonzalez, Danny Gonzalez, Joanna Gonzalez, cherished grandchildren: Mercedes, Ezekiel, Emilia, Elias, Arturo, Israel, and Samara. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Arturo Gonzalez Ramirez was a true cowboy at heart, defined by his steady grace, his favorite hat, and a pair of well-worn botas. He lived with the grit of a frontiersman and the soul of a musician.

Arturo found his truest voice through his guitar. Whether picking a classic corrido or strumming a simple melody, his music became the heartbeat of our home. He believed every good story was better when carried by a few chords and sung with honesty. Through his songs, he shared laughter, memories, and lessons that will stay with us forever.

To Arturo, being a cowboy meant more than the way you dressed—it was about respect, a firm handshake, quiet strength, and knowing when a song could ease even the hardest day. He lived those values every day and passed them on to those he loved.

Arturo also had a deep love for baseball, a passion that brought him joy and connection with his family. Whether watching a game, talking plays, or simply enjoying time together, baseball became another way he shared his heart. That love lives on through his children, grandchildren, and nephews who carry forward his appreciation for the game and the memories they built with him.

He will be remembered not only for the music he played, but for the love he gave, the stories he told, and the legacy of strength, humility, and heart he leaves behind.

Arturo's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:00am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church located at 8301 Camino San Martin SW, 87121. Rosary will be recited at 10:30am. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Arturo will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.
