Benita Vialpando

Benita Vialpando, 95, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Benita is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Phil Vialpando; son Felix Vialpando and parents Serafico and Adelina Segovia.

Benita is survived by her children: Phil Vialpando, Frances Salazar (Jose); siblings: Willie Segovia, Alfred Segovia, Feli Segovia, Marcy Sena, Ester Gomez; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.

Benita's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 3674 NM-47 Peralta, NM 87042. Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Mass will begin at 11:30 am. Benita will be laid to rest following the Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery located at 118A La Ladera Road Los Lunas, NM 87031. Family invite all friends and family to gather at the reception following the graveside at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Paul Salazar, Phil Salazar, Romolo Salazar, David Garcia, Dominic Vialpando, and Dominic Montoya.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Paulie Salazar, Jr., Manuel  Alvarez, Baby James Apodaca, Nathaniel Archuleta, Adam Archuleta, Joey Greene and James Apodaca.
