Bernice Archuleta, 77, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

She is predeceased by her parents: Petronilio and Bernarda Garcia; sisters: Josie Maes, Oralia Montano, and Bennie Salazar.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Manuel R. Archuleta; sons: Manny “Lucky” (Rose) Archuleta, Ray Archuleta; daughters: Annette Archuleta, Loretta Rivera (Sam); sisters: Cruzita Alires, Sophie Pacheco (Leo), Frances Ortiz, Elaine Kenneson, Della Minner (Rick), Susie Archuleta (Paul); grandchildren: Jessica Grauf, Stephanie Rivera, Erica Jinzo, Dominic Archuleta, Tanya Hosford, Naomi Ramirez; great-grandchildren: Mya Jiron, Serena Lucero, Damien Grauf, Jason Schafer, Brody Jinzo, Scarlett Rivera- Apodaca, Elijah Ramirez, Ezra Ramirez, Ezekiel Ramirez, Emma Ramirez, Dante Jinzo; and one great great-grandchild Nathan Katsuleas.

Bernice, also known as Nana is the heart of her family. She spent her days nurturing her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren’s passions, curiosity, and creativity. She instilled her love and devotion to her family and her love and devotion will be carried on for generations to come.

Bernice’s Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Reception will follow in the Salazar Mortuary Life Event Center.

Pallbearers will be Manuel P. Archuleta “Lucky”, Ray Archuleta, Dominic Archuleta, Sam Rivera, Randy Grauf, and Martin Jinzo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Schafer, Brody Jinzo, Damien Grauf, and Nathan Katsuleas.
