Dedicated to his community, he was a part of the Albuquerque High School Alumni Association, UNM Alumni Association, and was recognized as an outstanding citizen by Bernalillo County in 2020. As a lifetime fan of Lobo basketball and football, he held season tickets to attend both with the people he loved.
