Celia Montes went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her mother Amparo De Leon, grandson Jesus Montes Jr., father Ramon Rodriguez, brother Ramon Rodriguez, and nephew Felipe Hernandez.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jesus Montes; sons: Jesus Montes, Michael Montes and wife Victoria, Gerardo Montes and wife Blanca, Eric Montes and wife Connie; daughters: Amparo Robles and husband Ruben, Guadalupe Montes and husband Sergio; brother, Roberto Rodriguez; sisters: Angela Rodiguez, Erlinda Rodriguez; seventeen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Celia's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Thirds St SW, 87102. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. also at Salazar Mortuary. Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church located at 2401 Broadway Blvd SE, 87102 .

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor both the mortuary and the church have a capacity of 50 people and face coverings are required.

Pallbearers will be Eric Montes, Michael Montes, Gerardo Montes, Jesus Montes, Ruben Robles, and Sergio Loya.
