Charlie Jaramillo

Charlie Jaramillo beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle passed away peacefully Friday July 12,2024 in his hometown of Albuquerque, NM at the age of 79. He was survived by his daughter Charlene Jaramillo-Gutierrez, her husband Ralph Gutierrez, grandsons Isaiah and Joshua Gutierrez, brother Steve Jaramillo, wife Liz Jaramillo, sister-in-law Renay Padilla, brothers-in-law Ronald and John Padilla, many nieces and nephews and grand puppy Kobe. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Jaramillo, parents Lita and Juan Jaramillo, Mother in law, Irma Padilla, Father in law, Manuel Padilla, brothers Benny and Roger Jaramillo, sister-n-laws Pauline and Eileen Padilla, brothers-in-law Robert, Raymond and Peter Padilla to include his puppy, Lucy.

Charlie Jaramillo was an avid golfer, musician, photographer, gardener, and painter. He enjoyed fishing, the casino and restoring his 1969 Ford Ranger pick-up truck and 1948 Chevy Fleet Master. He was also a retired UPS Driver and served as a Marine in the United States military. He will always be remembered for his delicious red chili, his generosity, being selfless, genuine, loving and caring. He was truly a blessing to everyone who knew him.

Charlie will be remembered for living his life to the fullest. He embraced every moment and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and friends. He will never be forgotten, and his spirit will live on with us forever.

Charlie's Life Celebration will begin with a Eulogy on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 9:45am at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church located at 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, 87114. Mass will begin at 10:00am. Charlie will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.
