Cheri Elizabeth Martin

Cheri Elizabeth Martin, 44, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Cheri was preceded in death by her father Carl E. Martin.

She is survived by her mother, Diane E. Martin; brothers: Chris Martin (Eloisa), Bruce Martin (Carla), sister Tonya Higdon (Daniel), also three nephews, four nieces, several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Cheri graduated with honors from the UNM School of Nursing in 2008. She specialized in oncology, where she positively impacted the lives of many patients and friends. She loved to sing and enjoyed all types of music. Her love of butterflies is what stands out the most "Cheri Butterfly". Every year on her birthday she attended butterfly the pavilion. She loved spending time with her family and friends. some of her favorite movies were Grease, Labyrinth and the Princess Bride. Some of her other hobbies included hiking and going to the lake, she enjoyed being outdoors.

Cheri's light will never dim. She was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be forever in our hearts as "Cheri Butterfly".

Cheri's Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St NE, 87110.
