Cleofas Gutierrez, 69, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018.

Cleofas is preceded in death by his father, John J Gutierrez, his mother, Frances G Gutierrez, and his brother, Joe Gutierrez.

Cleofas is survived by his brothers; Raymond Gutierrez and wife Lucille, Johnny Ray Gutierrez and wife Beatrice, sisters; Angie Silva and husband Daniel P Silva, and Jane Montoya and husband Leroy Montoya. Cleofas had many friends, as well as many nieces and nephews and was known to tell them "See you in the funny papers."

Cleofas' Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 8:30am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW. Mass will begin at 10:00am at San Ignacio Catholic Church located at 1300 Walter St NE. Interment will follow Mass at Sunset Memorial Park located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE.

Pallbearers will be Dominic Silva, Eddie Gutierrez, Randy Gutierrez, David Montoya, Daniel P Silva, and Leroy Montoya. Honorary pallbearer will be Ernest Vigil.
