Daniel Sandoval passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the age of 54.
Daniel was preceded in death by his loving mother Irene Sedillo; father Joseph Sandoval; brothers: Marvin, Eric, Joe, Michael, Steven; sisters Cora and Cheryl.
He leaves behind his wife Janet Sandoval; father-in-law Jacob Leyba and Rosina; mother- in-law, Elizabeth Carson and Gary; five children: Janelle (Adrian), Jessica (Charlie), Daniel, Izaac, Jeramiah. Daniel was a father figure to Marvin Sandoval (Neveah), and Isidro Carrazco, whom he loved deeply as family; he was a proud grandfather to Raelynne and Santiago Medrano, and Adrian Armenta, who brought endless joy and pride into his life. He also leaves behind his sisters: Beverly Pacheco (David), Brenda Coleman (Russel), Janelle Sandoval, Stephanie Sandoval, Theresa Rael; brother Dave Sandoval, sisters-in-law Jackie Lucero (Steve) and Judy Starr; brother-in-law Aaron Maez; Goddaughters: Samantha, Rachel; best friends, Elsa and Fred; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Born on December 10, 1971, to Joseph Sandoval and Irene Sedillo, Daniel was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend whose love for his family was evident in every part of his life. Daniel shared 37 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janet. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, strength, and unwavering devotion through every joy and hardship life brought their way.
Daniel will always be remembered for his strength, sense of humor, loyalty, and the unconditional love he gave to everyone around him. He had a way of making people feel welcome, supported, and cared for. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, but the memories he created and the love he shared will live on forever.
Daniel's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, 87105. Rosary will be recited at 10:15am. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Daniel will be laid to rest following the Mass at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107. Reception will follow at the home of Jacob and Rosina Leyba.
Pallbearers for Daniel will be Izaac Sandoval, Jeramiah Sandoval, Marvin Sandoval, Adrian Armenta, Charlie Medrano, and Reuben Maez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Coleman, Isidro Carrazco, Steven Lucero, Sr., and Michael Duran.
