Darlene M. Moya

August 18, 1953 — July 23, 2019

Darlene Moya, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and, friend was greeted in heaven on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 by her parents Juan and Margaret and sister Lynette.

Darlene absolutely LOVED her family and is survived by her Husband Johnny Sr., Son's Johnny Moya Jr, wife Jennifer, Louis Moya and wife Sonia, Leon Moya, as well as daughter Antoinette Jojola and husband Fernando. Darlene especially loved her grandchildren Ryan, Aaron, Alexis, Elena, Louis, Mariah, Alayah and, Melani.  Darlene is also survived by her brothers Johnny (Junior) Martinez, Manuel Martinez, Robert (Bobby) Martinez, Raymond Martinez and, sister Sadie Sanchez.

Our mom loved to be outdoors, to be at concerts and casinos as well as family gatherings, the more family, the merrier. Mom loved to travel anywhere, from Las Vegas to a Mexican cruise or just to a family picnic in the mountains. Although our mom made the best enchiladas she loved to eat out with friends and family, especially if she could have prime rib and a Cadillac Margarita! Our mom also liked to shop and was fond of antiques and, was a famed animal rescuer, our pets were always strays. Mom was always and without hesitation a giving and loving woman, her last gift being an organ donor. Mom would always have waitstaff or Mariachis sing for whomevers birthday it was, the organ donor Honor/Hero Walk was a way for all of us to put the attention back on her :) Mom accepted anyone, regardless of shortcoming or faults and always sacrificed so others would not go without. When any of us were sad or upset, mom was there to comfort us, mediate disputes or just to talk (she could REALLY talk). She was always ready to talk but rarely about herself or her issues, we always came first. Our mom made us our favorite meals for birthdays or special occasions, we almost always chose her enchiladas. Our mom also could never stop talking about or giving the best hugs to her grandkids. Our mom loved us all and there are so many things to tell everyone about, we could never fit it all in here.

Thank you to everyone who supported our family during this difficult time. My mom appreciated each and everyone of you. Most of all thank you from the bottom of OUR hearts for loving her.

Mom you are an amazing woman who will be missed, but never forgotten. We wont say goodbye, just a see you later. We will continue to talk to you, keep you in our hearts and, keep you up to date on all the gossip. Mom...Dad, me, Louis, Antoinette and Leon each love you so much!
