David Whiting, Jr.

The world became a little less bright on Sunday, July 12, 2026, with the passing of David Whiting.

He is preceded in death by his father David Whiting.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Whiting; four children: Jessica Sanchez, Alexandria Hendren (Alex), Gabrielle Fjelseth (Jereme), David Whiting III (Breana); grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Makayla, Taylor, Hayden, AJ, Alessi, Kiley, Tyler, Alex; mother Joan Whiting; siblings: Jeffrey Whiting (Jeannine), Richard Whiting (Cindy), Grace Mares (Tommy), Phillip Whiting (Tracy), Greg Whiting (Kelly), as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on August 17, 1966 to Joan and David Whiting.

David was know for his infectious laughter and unwaivering kindness. He was a hard working man who loved his family. David met the love of his life Sandra in August of 1985 at Uncle Cliffs. They were married October 8, 1988. From the day they met they were inseparable.

He was also apart of the low rider and biker community.

David leaves behind a legacy his family will carry forward forever.

David's Life Celebration will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00am at Citizen Church (Central Campus) located at 10500 Copper Ave. NE, 87123. Flowers may be delivered to the church starting at 9:00am the morning of the service and need to be delivered by 10:00am.
