David J. Abeyta, 20, went to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

David was born Sept 4, 1999, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a lifelong area resident. He loved skateboarding, drawing, making music as well as Dj'ing but most all spending time with his brothers and friends.

He is preceded in death by his baby sister, his princess Estrella Abeyta as well as paternal grandfather, Sam Abeyta.

He is survived by his mother Jessica Abeyta; his father Adrian Abeyta ; three brothers Tao, Isaac and Zacary Abeyta; paternal grandmother Angie Abeyta; maternal grandmother Rachel Ponce; maternal grandfather Jesse Ponce; Uncle/BestFriend Gabriel Ponce as well as many more numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

David's Life Celebration will held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sandia Baptist Church located at 9429 Constitution Ave NE, 87112. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held at a later date.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tao Abeyta, Isaac Abeyta, Zacary Abeyta and Gabriel Ponce.

Contributions in memory of David may be made to UNM Children's Hospital or Make-a-Wish of New Mexico.
