Destiny Reed

Destiny Reed, 16, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Destiny is preceded in death by many loved family members and friends.

She is survived by her parents Jeremy and Stacy Reed, sister Madison Reed, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Destiny or Desty was a sweet and free spirted girl whose adventurous and vibrant personality left an imprint on all that knew her. At just 16, entering her junior year of high school, she radiated every room she entered with her smile. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always made them laugh with her silly faces and the way she would flutter her eyelashes at them.

Her room was a shrine to Hello Kitty, with plushies, blankets, mirrors and trinkets that reflect her playful spirit. Music pulsed through her life like a second language, whether she was singing or dancing to her favorite song or creating playlists for every mood. She enjoyed going to concerts and movies. She loved the thrill of the amusement park rides, the ones that made her scream and laugh all at once. Desty enjoyed riding on the back of her dad’s motorcycle where she felt free in the breeze.
