Dorothy M. Acosta, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on March 13, 2016.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Apolonio Acosta. She loved everyone she met and was much loved.

Survivors include daughter, Romie McCoy and husband Orlando; sons: Patrick, and Paul Acosta and his wife Andrea; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be carried by Lee Acosta, Randy McCoy, Sammy McCoy, John Sedillo, Oscar Jeffrey and Paul R. Acosta.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Salazar Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW 87102. A Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8:15am with Mass of Christian burial to follow at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande parish, 5901 St. Josephs Ave. NW 87120. Dorothy will then be reunited with Apples at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3 pm.
