Efren "Cain" Navarette

Efren (Junior) was born in Carlsbad NM on April 15, 1948.

He is preceded in death by his (Mom) Faye Navarette, (Father) Efren Navarette (Senior), (brother) Guilleremo Navarette, and sisters: Christina Navarette and Priscilla Ortiz. Cain is survived by one brother: Lionel Navarette, and his wife: Maria Navarette.

Efren grew up in Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School in (1966). Soon after graduation, Efren enlisted in the US Army: Where he served one tour in Viet-nam, where he received many awards.

Afterwards, he attended Abilene Christian College where he received his degree in History and biblical studies. He then attended Officers Training School at Hardin Simmons University and received the rank of Second Lt. in the US Army.

He went on to pursue Higher education and received a Masters degree. Efren was an avid reader and loved education. He was a man of deep faith and loved sharing the word with all who would listen. Efren was a disabled Vet and moved to Albuquerque to spend some time with his brother Guillermo, where he met Maria.
