Emmie "Emily" Rodriguez was born on October 18, 1965 and went home to the Lord on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the age of 53.

Emily is preceded in death by her father Frank and mother Joan .

Emily is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years Abel Rodriguez, daughters; Maria, Ruby, granddaughters; Emily, Aliyah, grandsons; Dominic, Ramon, Demetrio, Desi, brother Mateo (Esmeralda), sisters; Theresa (Julian), Mary Helen (Manny), Pearl (Judy), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember her in our hearts forever.

Emily grew up in Farmington, New Mexico and moved to Albuquerque in 1979. She went on to be a caregiver, in addition to being a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and nana. She enjoyed bingo, crochet, needle points, and going to the park with the grand kids. Her wish was for her family and friends to be in peace and love each other unconditionally as she loved us.

Emily will be greatly missed.

We give thanks to our heavenly father for her life and for the opportunity to have shared it. Now we hold fast to the hope of being reunited again in eternal glory the the power of Christ's resurrection.

Emily's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 6:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:30 am at New Beginnings Church of God located at 3601 Montgomery Blvd NE. Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow Service at Pajarito Cemetery.
