Fabian L. Casaus "Brother"

It is with deep sadness that the family of Fabian L. Casaus announces his passing on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 32. 

He is survived by his parents Emma Sandoval and Fabian E. Casaus; sisters: Monique Casaus, Cruzita Lorenz, and brother-in-law Matthew Lorenz.

Fabian will always be remembered for his generous and loving spirit. Those lucky enough to know him knew he had a heart as big as the world around him. You would never meet another soul who cared for his parents, sisters, family members, and friends as he did.

A proud Army veteran, Fabian, served his country with honor and courage. He was studying and training to become a licensed electrician while working at D.R.B., where he was truly supported.

He felt most at peace cruising down the street with the windows down and music turned up. He had a deep love for food and cooking, he was always eager to explore new flavors, techniques and cuisines.

His compassion, humor, and love for others will live in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy is one of kindness, service, and loyalty to everyone around him.

Fabian's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 9:40am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church located at 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, 87112. Mass will begin at 10:00am. Fabian will be laid to rest at 1:30pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St., 87501.
