Felipe "Guero" Gonzalez, 68, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Ramona Gonzalez, two sisters: Sylvia Gonzalez and Enidia Gonzalez.

Felipe is survived by his son: Felipe Cordova; daughters: Josephine Nakai (Michael), Melissa Cordova (Luis), Christina Hernandez (Geovanni); brothers: Manuel Gonzalez (Socorro), Jesus Gonzalez (Amalia), Hector Gonzalez (Rocio), Marcos Gonzalez (Lily); sisters: Theresa Reyes (Venancio), Carmen Ontiveros (Lorenzo), Rita Rodriguez (Roberto), Monica Gonzalez; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Felipe was a loving man and was a friend to all. He was a very hard worker and devoted his free time to playing softball.

Felipe's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 6:30 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00 am also at Salazar Mortuary. Felipe will be laid to rest following the Service at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will be held following the graveside at ABQ Eventos Paraiso located at 233 San Pedro Dr NW Albuquerque, NM 87108.

Pallbearers will be Felipe Cordova, Isaiah Gurule, Geovanni Hernandez, Marcos Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez, and Gabriel Plata.

Honorary pallbearers will be Manuel Gonzalez and Hector Gonzalez.
