Fernando N. "Sonny" Salas, a beloved, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son, has been welcomed into the arms of our heavenly father on April 17, 2021 at the age of 57. His hard-working hands to rest.
He was preceded in death by his father Fernando Salas; daughter Jennifer Salas; .sister Charlotte Salas; mother in law Ruby Atencio; and father in law Eloy Atencio.
Sonny is survived by his wife Karen Salas; daughters: Amanda Gonzales, and Samantha Lindgren; mother Loriane Salas; sisters: Debbie Esquibel, Bernadette Salas, Loriann Carr; brothers: Eli Salas, Johnny Salas; grandchildren: Kayla Garica, Christina Gonzales; as well as four adopted grandchildren.
Sonny served as a pastor to our community at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.
The reflection of Sonny will shine in all our lives. He has impacted many with his generosity. Sonny would never let anyone go hungry, he was always feeding everyone. He provided glimmers of hope when all hope was gone. Sonny would constantly quote, " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength". He knew the power of those words and used them to encourage many to believe in themselves again, to be God's best. Sonny will be missed, but his kindness will shine for generations to come.
Never goodbye, always see you later.
You are always loved and never forgotten. May your soul rest in peace!
