Florentina Gaxiola de Lopez

Florentina Gaxiola de Lopez went to be in the presence of the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2026.

She is survived by six sisters, five daughters, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

She was born on May 1, 1950, in the town of Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Her parents were Miguel Rafael Gaxiola and Florentina Rodríguez de Gaxiola. Her siblings were Celida, Leonor Olivia, Rene, Noemi, Ruth, Leticia, Laura, Mavet, and Lucila.

At the age of 18, she married Jesus Abel Lopez. Together, they had five daughters: Elizabeth, Eunice, Flora Ruth, Sara Liceth, and Madai.

They were blessed with fourteen grandchildren and two great-granddaughters: Eder Jesus, Esli Elisabet, Abdiel, Ryan Joseph, Josiah, Isaac Jr., Bethany, Aaron, Navyesca, Ariadna Michelle, Aarick, Kayla, Anahi, Adien Lucas; as well as four adopted grandchildren: Tyler, Seth, Tate, Kary; and two great-granddaughters: Zoe Levi and Olivia Elizabeth.

Although today we say farewell to her physical presence, we celebrate a life well lived and the beautiful legacy she leaves for future generations.

Florentina's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 9:00am at Essence Church located at 2725 Broadbent Pkwy NE, 87107. Service will begin at 10:30am. Florentina will then be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Castaneda, Josiah Castaneda, Isaac Zubia, Aaron Duron, Aarick Duron, and Aiden Duron. 

Honorary Pallbearer will be Abdiel Beltran

Le sobreviven seis hermanas, sus cinco hijas, 14 nietos y dos bisnietas.

Florentina Gaxiola de Lopez, nacio el dia 1 de Mayo, de 1950 en el pueblo de Guamuchil, Sinaloa, Mexico. Sus padres fueron Miguel Rafael Gaxiola y Florentina Rodríguez de Gaxiola. Sus hermanos fueron, Celida, Leonor Olivia, Rene, Noemí, Ruth, Leticia, Laura, Mavet y Lucila.

Se caso con el joven Jesus Abel Lopez a la edad de 18 anos y juntamente tuvieron cinco hijas: Elizabeth, Eunice, Flora Ruth, Sara Liceth y Madai.

Tuvieron catorce nietos y dos bisnietas; Eder Jesus, Esli Elisabet, Abdiel, Ryan Joseph, Josiah, Isaac Jr., Bethany, Aaron, Navyesca, Ariadna Michelle, Aarick, Kayla, Anahi y Adien Lucas; ademas de cuatro nietos adoptivos: Tyler, Seth, Tate y Kary, y dos bisnietas: Zoe Levi y Olivia Elizabeth.

Aunque hoy despedimos su presencia fisica, celebramos una vida bien vivida y el hermoso legado que deja a las futuras generaciones.

La celebracion de la vida de Florentina comenzara con un velatorio el viernes 14 de agosto de 2026 a las 9:00 a. m. en la iglesia Essence Church, ubicada en 2725 Broadbent Pkwy NE, 87107. El servicio dara inicio a las 10:30 a. m. Posteriormente, Florentina recibira sepultura en el cementerio Sunset Memorial Park, situado en 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.
