Geraldine McGuinness

Geraldine McGuinness has gone home to our Lord, passing away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur McGuinness; sons: Martin McGuinness, Rudy McGuinness, parents Porfirio M. and Corine R. Sandoval, and brother Daniel Sandoval. 

Geraldine is survived by her son Jessie and wife Darla McGuinness, daughter-in-law Antoinette McGuinness, stepdaughter Terry Morris; grandsons: Martin W. McGuinness (Francesca), Rudy McGuinness, Richard McGuinness, Jude McGuinness, Vicente McGuinness, Paris Morris; granddaughters: Monique McGuinness, Tenisha Perea (Brian), Anastasia McGuinness; great-grandsons: Martin E. McGuinness, Luciano McGuinness; great-granddaughter Avianna McGuinness; brothers: Florencio Sandoval (Lisa), Albert Sandoval (Helen), Leo Sandoval (Jeannette), Victor Sandoval (Carol), Charlie Sandoval; sisters: Carmen Sandoval (Steven), Julia Lopez, Helen Aragon, Patsy Lucero (Charlie), Virginia Segura (Ramon), Isabel Baldonado, as well as many nieces and nephews and family friends.

Geraldine cherished her large family above all and loved spending time with them, she loved her little doggies, Sparky and Smokey, shopping, purses, watching her favorites sports teams, Atlanta Braves and Denver Broncos, local church fiestas and taking road trips.

Geraldine’s Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 9:00am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 10:00am. Service will begin at 10:00am. Geraldine will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow inside Salazar Mortuary's Event Center.
