Helen "Nana" Gallegos, 68, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 surrounded by love.
Helen was preceded in death by parents Samuel and Teofila Nieto; brothers: Joe and Robert Nieto; and son in law James Giddings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gilbert Gallegos, Sr.; children: Gilbert Gallegos, Jr. (Crystal), Elaine Gallegos, Angela Giddings, Ellen Gallegos; siblings: Sam Nieto (Sydney), Rose Gallegos; six grandchildren: Abrienna Gallegos, Benny Trevino, Nicolas Giddings, Michael Gallegos, Mariah Gallegos, Marcos Gallegos; great-grandchild Brielle Gallegos; a host of Godchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Helen's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Catholic Church of Ascension located at 2150 Raymac Rd SW, 87105.
Pallbearers will be Abrienna Gallegos, Benny Trevino, Nicolas Giddings, Michael Gallegos, Jonathan Lujan, and Joshua Lujan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mariah Gallegos and Marcos Gallegos.
