Hortensia "Tensie" Blythe, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 92, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Edward Blythe.

Hortensia is survived by her four children: Joseph F. and Kathy Blythe, Anita C. Blythe, Helene M. Felder, William K. and Lisa Blythe; all from Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren: Carl Becker, Andrew Becker, Jennifer Blythe, Jessica and Todd Greiss, Lauren Felder, Robert Felder, Megan Blythe; great-grandchildren: Mia Becker, John Becker, Nico Becker; Brody Nagel; Kailey Greiss, Olivia Greiss, and Miya Greiss.

Hortensia's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 5:30pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Mass will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 9:00 am at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church located at 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW, 87120. Hortensia will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Blythe, William Blythe, Andrew Becker, Robert Felder, John Becker, Nico Becker.
