He was predeceased by his father, Pat Griego; nana, Regina Romero; grandpa, Jose A. Romero; grandma, Beatrice Griego; and grandpa, Santiago Griego.
James is survived by his mother, Olivia Griego and stepdad, Jose Flores; wife of 22 years, Yira Griego; sons: James Griego, Jr., Eli Griego, Andrew Griego, Patrick Griego; daughter, Yazmin Griego; sister: JoyLynn Duran and her fiancAC. Doug Trujillo; two grandchildren: Kaylee Griego and Mia Griego; nephews: Christopher Salcido and Christian Duran; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
