James Richard Salsberry VI, age 36, a beloved son, brother, uncle, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013.

He was a gentle giant with an excellent memory, a big heart, and a beautiful smile; who loved his family and everybody.

James is proceeded in death by his father James Richard Salsberry V, his nana Dora Salazar (Villa), his grandpa Joe Montoya, his uncles: Dennis and George Montoya, Albert and Juan Blea; and other relatives. James is survived by his loving mom Joann Vigil;his step father Michael J. Vigil; his brother Michael J Vigil of San Francisco, CA; his sisters: Stephanie Vigil of Albuquerque, and Rachel Nunez and husband Jimmy of Albuquerque; his niece Makayla Vigil of Albuquerque; uncles: Eddie Salaberry and wife Patsy of Phoenix, AZ, Eugene Salsberry and wife Karin of Phoeniz, AZ, Robert Salsberry of San Bernadino, CA; his aunt Barbara Lopez and husband Albert of CA; his grandparents: Alicia Parra of San Bernadino, CA, and Hank Colunga of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous other relatives and friends.

James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

James' life celebration will begin with a Rosary at Salazar Mortuary on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:30 pm. Mass of Resurrection will take place Saturday, October 26 at Sacred Heart Church (309 Stover Avw SW) at 10 am followed by a committal at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
