James Dario Castillo, 57, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

Dario is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Rosela Castillo, brother John Castillo, and many loved family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lourdes Castillo, daughters; Bernadette Castillo ( Freddy Roybal), Darlene Castillo, brothers; Jose Castillo (Letty), Steve Castillo, sister Joleen Montoya (Ernest), father-in-law Lesman Chavez, uncle Fred Turrietta, aunts: Dolores Castillo and Miquela Turrieta;  and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He liked collecting hot wheel cars,  classic cars, and models. He loved telling jokes.

Dario's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 5:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Followed by a Rosary which will be recited at 7:00 pm also at Salazar Mortuary. Final Viewing will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 9:30am at San Clemente Catholic Church located at 244 Luna Ave SE, Los Lunas 87031. Followed by a Mass which will begin at 10:00 am also at San Clemente. Burial will follow at Los Padillas Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Castillo, Greg Castillo, Steven Castillo, John Castillo, Jose Castillo, and Freddie Roybal.
