Jana’s life was a testament to her enduring spirit and the deep love she held for her family and friends. Her greatest achievement and source of pride were her children. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, often sacrificing her own needs to ensure they had everything they required to thrive. Her role as a mother did not end with her children, as she embraced the joys of becoming a grandmother with the same fervent dedication. Jana's legacy as a caregiver extended beyond her family—her friends and community felt the warmth of her nurturing spirit.
Known for her resilience, Jana faced life's challenges head-on. She was a fighter, a survivor who met adversity with a steadfast determination. Her loyalty knew no bounds, and she was a pillar of strength for all who were fortunate to know her. Jana's tenacity was matched only by her selflessness; she was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear to anyone in need.
Jana's interests were as eclectic as they were passionate. She found solace in the pages of books and expressed her creativity through writing and crocheting. A fan of the cinematic world, she delighted in watching western movies, and her enthusiasm for her beloved Dallas Cowboys was unmatched. Jana's love of music was evident to anyone near her when an oldie started playing—she couldn't resist the urge to dance.
Her culinary tastes were simple yet profound. Jana's favorite meal was enchiladas, a dish that often brought her family together around the dining table. She held a special place in her heart for her favorite restaurants, Weinerschnitzel and Bob's Burgers, where many fond memories were created. Jana's love for culture was reflected in her collection of native dolls, each piece telling a story and holding a memory.
Jana's life was a melody composed of loving moments, courageous battles, and selfless acts. She was the embodiment of love, touching the lives of everyone she met with her kindness and compassion. Her courage inspired those around her, and her selflessness left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
As we bid farewell to Jana "Weda" Lara, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her memory will remain a cherished treasure in the hearts of all who knew her. May we find comfort in knowing that Jana's journey was filled with joy, her battles fought with courage, and her life lived with an abundance of love. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support will be deeply missed, but the essence of who she was will forever be a part of us.
