Jason Michael McCoy, 46, of Albuquerque, New Mexico entered eternal life to his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 2, 2026.
Jason's family legacy includes his wife of 13 years, Salome Hernandez McCoy, sons: August McCoy, Xavier McCoy, El Rey McCoy; parents Robert and Phyllis Ellison of Powder Springs, Georgia; father Michael McCoy; sister Candice Ellison with her partner Bobby and daughter Francis and Joseph Ellison with his wife Rita Ellison, as well his beloved family from California to Georgia.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 25, 1979, Jason has been a loyal and hardworking citizen in the Albuquerque area for nearly 25 years.
Jason was a devoted husband and father to his three sons, whom he would refer to as “his masterpieces.” Jason loved to spend time at home with his family when he was not on the road as a regional transport hauler. Jason shared his love of guitar, music, chess and sports. He remained a loyal fan of Atlanta based sports teams, especially the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves. Even though Jason shared love for many hobbies and interests, his love of the Lord was the greatest of them all.
Jason graduated from R. L. Osbourne High School on June 7, 1997, with his high school diploma. At the North Metro Technical Institute, Jason graduated with a diploma in Computer Information Systems on September 16, 1999. Jason also graduated from Floyd College with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Business on May 12, 2001. Jason also received his CDL License from the Phoenix Truck Driving School on October 11, 2019. Jason was an intelligent and incredible human being who achieved many accomplishments in life.
Jason's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2:00pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Service will begin at 3:00pm.
