Jazmyn Chavez

Jazmyn Chavez, lovingly known by her nickname "Jazz," was born on June 12, 1999, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She left this world far too soon on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in her hometown, leaving behind a vibrant legacy filled with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her twin sister Jolene and father Albert Chavez

Jazz is survived by mom Leticia and remaining siblings: Jaden, Jenne, Danielle, Dedre, and big brother Joshua.

A radiant spirit, Jazmyn was incredibly multifaceted—she had a passion for podcasts, enjoyed coloring, and delighted in cooking, often sharing these moments with her son. Her laughter was infectious, and her bright smile could light up any room. Jazmyn had an extraordinary ability to connect with those around her, embracing each relationship with genuine warmth and empathy. A true lover of music, she found solace and joy in singing, often letting the lyrics express emotions that words alone could not convey.

Jazmyn was devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with them. She was particularly close to her twin sister, sharing a bond that transcended the ordinary. The two were inseparable in many ways, bringing out the best in each other. Their shared experiences included not just the joys of life, but also the music that intertwined their souls.

Jazmyn's interests extended to the simpler joys of life as well; she had a fondness for stickers, coins, crystals, and plush toys like squish mellows. Her love of the outdoors manifested in her enthusiasm for camping and fishing. As she chased her dreams and planned for a future that included a potential move to Oregon, she remained grounded in the present, always ensuring that her son knew he was her priority.

As an individual dedicated to personal growth, Jazmyn was in the process of finishing her college education, seeking knowledge and opportunities to better her life and that of her son.
