Joe Eliseo Lucero, 85, was welcomed into Heaven's gate on Saturday, October 30, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved family: his wife of 61years Erlinda (Lindy) Lucero; sons: Michael Lucero (MaryAnn Gonzales), Mark Lucero (Lorraine Martinez); daughter Patricia Romero (Leroy Romero); four grandchildren: Cassandra Romero-Simon (Timothy), Jared Romero, Christopher Lucero (Brittney), Stephanie (Jose); three great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Elianna, Ezekiel; brother Amarante Chavez and sister Diana Garcia.

Joe's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, 87107. Mass will begin at 10:30am. Joe will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.
