Johanna Elizabeth Castillo

Johanna Elizabeth Castillo passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 59.

She is preceded in death by her father Joe Castillo and life partner Steve Casaus.

Johanna is survived by her mother Clorinda Castillo; son Jeremy Casaus; siblings: Anna Espalin and husband Abel, Samuel Castillo and wife Deborah. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Johanna worked as an administrative assistant for the Albuquerque Fire Department. A job which she enjoyed greatly and allowed her to cultivate lifelong friendships. She loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and would never hesitate an offer to ride on the back of one. Johanna had a love of sunflowers and crafting small gifts for her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and would make friends anywhere she went.

Johanna's absence will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing and sharing in her company.

Johanna's Life Celebration will be held at a later date.
