Johnnie Girl Martin-Goodson, 93, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.

She was born on August 31, 1928, to Virgil and Minnie Martin. She had 7 brothers and sisters and was raised in Buck Creek, Oklahoma. Johnnie graduated from Panama High School. She married Mike E. Goodson in 1946. They were married for 68 years. They had four children: Edison J. Goodson -Krebs, OK, Toni Montessi (Jim) -Porter, OK, Michael R. Goodson (Ellen) -Albuquerque, NM, and Wesley D.Goodson (Michele) -Albuquerque, NM. Johnnie had 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Johnnie lived in Albuquerque for 63 years and was a member of the Alameda Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and worked in the nursey for years. She retired from APS cafeteria, where she enjoyed cooking.

Johnnie’s Life Celebration will begin with a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Alameda Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest at Shady Point Cemetery in OK.
