John Paul Martinez, 85, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.

John was preceded in death by his father Victoriano Martinez, Jr., mother Amelia Martinez, daughter Jeanette Arlene Armijo, and sister Eloida Annette.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita E. Martinez, sons; John Martinez, Peter Martinez (Valerie), daughters; Adela Montano (Frank), Mary Agnes Martinez, brothers; Tony Martinez (Joyce), Joe Martinez (Rosemary), Larry Martinez, sisters; Rosabel Griego, Berna Montoya (Gilbert), also many grandchildren and great grandchilren.

John Paul's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Monday November 25, 2019 9:30am at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church located at 2005 North Plaza NW, 87104. Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow Mass. Interment will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 12:45pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Montano, Steve Montano, Frank Montano, Dave Armijo, Chad Armijo, and Kevin Martinez.
