Jose Angel Dominguez

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Jose Angel Dominguez went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jose was preceded in death by his wife Erika Santana; grandparents: Jose and Manuela Flores, Susana "Chana" Hernandez and Benigno Dominguez.

He is survived by his children: Alexis Dominguez (Naomi), Ryana Dominguez, Melina Dominguez, Angelica Dominguez and Braylin Ward; granddaughter Avyanna Dominguez; parents Taurino and Brigida Dominguez; siblings: David Dominguez (Rosalba), Victor Dominguez (Renee), Susy Sarmiento (Lalo), Tauro Jr Dominguez, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Born on August 6, 1973, Jose was a loving, caring and very giving individual. He loved his dog, Austin, and gave himself to others without hesitation. Most of all he loved God above all things. He worked hard as a landscaper, of which many clients of his will truly feel his loss. He was the caretaker for his little brother, Jr.

Rejoice in our Lord Jose.

Jose's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 8:30am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 9:30am. Eulogy will be read at 10:00am. Catholic Service will begin at 10:30am. Christian Service will begin at 11:30am. Jose will then be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, 87107. Reception will follow the Burial inside Salazar Mortuary's Event Center.

Pallbearers will be his son Alexis Dominguez, brothers: David Dominguez, Victor Dominguez, Jr Dominguez, brother-in-law Lalo Mendoza, and Gilbert Salazar.
