Joseph “Joe” Perez, born on November 22, 1949, in Albuquerque, New Mexico lived a remarkable life of love, service, and devotion. He passed away surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, humility, and unwavering dedication to those he cherished most.

From an early age, Joe embodied resilience and determination. As a proud Marine and Vietnam veteran, he served his country with honor and carried that same sense of discipline and loyalty into every aspect of his life. His Marine Corps mentality shaped not only his own journey but also inspired those around him to face challenges with courage and perseverance.

Beyond his service, Joe had a true love for the outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, ranching, and traveling—pursuits that brought him both peace and adventure. Whether he was casting a line into a quiet lake or tending to the land, he found fulfillment in connecting with nature and sharing those moments with family and friends.

For 55 years, Joe was a devoted husband and partner to his beloved wife. Together they built a home rooted in love, laughter, and faith. Joe was the cornerstone of his family—a source of guidance, wisdom, and steady support. To his children and grandchildren, he was more than a father or grandfather; he was a mentor, protector, and constant source of encouragement. His presence filled their lives with warmth, his humor brought joy to even the hardest days, and his advice often carried the clarity of lived experience.

Joe’s influence extended far beyond his family. In his community, he was known as someone who would always lend a helping hand, listen without judgment, and offer words of wisdom when they were needed most. His humility, kindness, and generosity left a permanent mark on all who knew him.

Until we meet again, we hold tightly to the memories of Joe’s laughter, his stories, and his tough love that challenged others to be their best selves. We remember the Marine who served his country with pride, the outdoorsman who felt at home under the wide sky, and the family man who poured his heart into those he loved.

Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, the essence of who Joe was remains with us—in the values he instilled, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. His spirit continues to guide us, reminding us to live with purpose, to love without reservation, and to meet life’s challenges with strength and grace.

Joe’s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will forever be carried in the hearts of his family and community.
