Juan Villa Lopez, a man whose laughter and generosity enriched the lives of all who knew him, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in Sandoval, New Mexico.

He is survived by his mother Maria Lopez; significant other Maria Maldonado; brother Heriberto Villa; sons: Juan Maldonado (Desiree), Cruz Villa, Fernando Maldonado (Perla); and daughters Marta Villa and Reyna Mia Maldonado.
Juan was born on January 5, 1974, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Juan's zest for life and his unwavering spirit were evident from an early age.
Juan's love for life was as vast as his interests, which ranged from the thrill of casinos to the joy of cooking. He found solace in the melodies and rhythms of all sorts of music, and his passion for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched. Above all, Juan's greatest pride and joy were his children, who he regarded as his most significant achievement. He strived to be present for every milestone, big or small, instilling in them the values of love and hard work.
To say that Juan was a good soul with the biggest heart would be an understatement. He was always there for others, offering a helping hand or a comforting word when needed. His capacity for love and his dedication to his family and friends were the hallmarks of his character.
A hard worker by nature, Juan approached every task with diligence and skill. His hands were not only handy but also a symbol of his desire to build a better life for his loved ones. Those who knew Juan will remember him as loving, funny, and incredibly handy—a man who could fix a leaky faucet as effortlessly as he could elicit a smile.
Juan's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. His memory will continue to be a beacon of light for all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his kindness and warmth. Juan Manuel Villa Lopez will be deeply missed, but the imprint he left on the world will endure forever.
