Louie S. Sanchez, Sr.

Louie Salome Sanchez, Sr. went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 10, 2021.

Louie was born on February 28,1960 in Albuquerque, NM. He was the oldest of his brother and sister. He got married on June 30,1979 to his high school sweetheart Linda Sanchez. They had 3 children. He worked hard for 40 years at Creamland Dairies.

He is preceded in death by his parents Louie Sanchez, Luberto Ortiz, and Jeanette Betty Sanchez.

He is survived by his wife Linda Sanchez of 42 years, mother Seferina Ortiz; son Louie Salome Sanchez, Jr.; daughters: Desiray Sanchez, Rachel Valdez; brother Andrew Sanchez; sister Judy Sanchez; grandchildren: Destinee, Amaris, Anthony, Lila, Sophia, nieces and nephews: Dominic, Andrea, Xavier,Ezekial, and Andrew, Jr.

He was loved by everyone, and loved to make everyone laugh. He was very generous, and had a heart of gold. He loved to fish, go camping and playing his guitar with a beer after work, He loved tailgating at the lobo games. And of course lets not forget his Chicago Bears. Once he became a Grandfather that was a highlight in his life for him to keep going on strong. Every single one of his grandchildren brought so much joy to his life.

He will be missed dearly. Our lives will never be the same without his presence here with us, rest in peace Louie the Lobo.

Louie's Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 9:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, 87105. Louie will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Salas, Dominic Sanchez, Russell Locero, Pete Saiz, Samuel Baca, Trey Teupell and Frank Armijo.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Sanchez, Destinee Barros, Amaris Barros and Louie Sanchez, Jr.
