Mrs. Lupe Maes, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 5. Mrs. Lupe Maes was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel E. Maes, and Grandchildren, Corine & Eric Jones.

She is survived by: her children Annabelle Suazo, Rosella Pineda, Patricia Lovato (Dennis), Threresa Lovato (Steve), Anthony Maes (Carolyn), Michael Trujillo (Shirley), Max Maes; Grandchildren, Jason (Jenna), Angelo (Audrey), Stephanie, Mia, Maxine, Karen (Matt), Michael, Justin, Elaine (Ramon), Leslie (Mark), Chris (Yolanda), Isaac, Joshua, and 22 Great-Grandchildren.

Lupe was a devoted Catholic. She loved to shop, do yardwork, eat out, and read. A viewing will be Monday 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary (400 Third St. SW). A Rosary will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Life Celebration Mass following 9:00 a.m. Burial is scheduled at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Maes, Christopher Lovato, Angelo Lovato, Michael Pineda, Isaac Jaramillo, and Andrew Sena
