Marcella E. Hoehne went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Marcella is preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Stella Sanchez; sisters: Viola Ulibarri, Stella Zamora; and brother Ray Sanchez.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years Julian "Ernie" Hoehne; son Martin Hoehne; daughter and son-in-law Carla and Jim West; brother-in-laws: Eloy Ulibarri, Mel Zamora; sister-in-law Dee Sanchez; two grandchildren: Sarah Marvil, Jessica Ashler and husband Justin; and three great grandchildren: Mariyah, Dominic, and Madelyn.
Marcella loved gardening and cooking. Family gatherings meant so much to her.
Marcella's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Due to capacity limits the Rosary recitation will be live-streamed on Salazar Mortuary's Facebook page at 3:00 pm. You do NOT need to have a Facebook account to view the live-stream. Please click the link below at the scheduled time. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church located at 2005 North Plaza St. SW, 87104. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery following Mass located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102.
Due to the restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Marcella's Visitation, Mass, and Burial. Salazar Mortuary has a capacity of 10 people allowed inside at one time for the Visitation. We ask that all others wait INSIDE of their vehicles until we are ready to escort the next group inside. San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church has a capacity of 65 people allowed at the Mass. Mount Calvary is allowed to have 10 people at the graveside and asks that all attendees stand back in socially distant groups of 10.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hoehne, Andy Hoehne, Steven Ulibarri, David Zamora, Troy Sanchez, and Jeremy Saenz.
