Maria J. Vargas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2022, 16 days shy of her 99th birthday.

Maria's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 5:00pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm. Final Viewing will take place on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:30am also at Salazar Mortuary. Service will begin at 11:00am. Maria will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow in the Salazar Mortuary Life Event Center.
