A lover of dance, she could often be found swaying to the music with grace and poise, her laughter ringing out as she lost herself in the rhythm. Her fondness for the hunt for unique treasures led her to frequent flea markets, antique shops, and swap meets, where she displayed an uncanny knack for discovering hidden gems amidst the ordinary.
Cora's artistic talents shone through in her arts and crafts, and her love for jewelry was not only in the wearing but also in the joyful creation of her own designs. A connoisseur of flavors, Cora's palate was as adventurous as her spirit. Indian food, Native American dishes, and Mexican cuisine were among her favorites, and she relished in the experience of savoring each spicy, savory, and sweet bite. Her fondest vacation memories were of times spent in Mexico, where the vibrant culture and delicious food captured her heart time and again. Above all, Cora’s most cherished accomplishments were her children. Her unwavering dedication to their upbringing and success was the cornerstone of her life's work. She instilled in them the same drive and determination that characterized her own approach to life's challenges.
Her career at the telephone company stood as a testament to her professional achievements, where she was known for her tenacity and an uncanny ability to make the most of every opportunity, famously making "a dollar out of 15 cents." Cora's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the relentless pursuit of happiness.
