Mary Celinea Marquez, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 1, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her father George Marquez, mother Martin Carrillo; brothers: Leonard Marquez, Pete Marquez, Rudy Marquez; and sister Hazel Marquez.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years Martin Carrillo; sons: Bill M. Marquez, Lawrence R. Marquez, Jose L. Madrid, D'Angelo P. Hernandez; ten grandchildren: Martin G. Marquez, Alicia C. Marquez, Elizabeth J. Perea, Isidro S. Lemos, Baily M. Marquez, Michael M. Marquez, Cecilia C. Madrid, Emanuel J. Madrid, Anastacio a. Madrid, Bonita M. Madrid; great-grandchild Renesmee E.Churchill; brothers: Jimmy Marquez, Marvin Marquez; sister Theresa Marquez as well as many other family members and friends.
Mary was born on January 18, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended Albuquerque High School. She was a great mother and homemaker as well as being a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary performed home health care for many patients. She was a master of many talents. She loved to spend time with all of her family and enjoyed giving her friends rides to places, visiting them, and participating in recreational activities with them. She was always on a drive back and forth and always wanted to be with someone. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Casinos, and paying her bills. She often shared memories of her stopping at any church to light a candle and prey. She enjoyed attending church services at New Beginnings Church of God.
Her wish was for her family and friends to be in peace and to love each other unconditionally, as she loved us. Mary will be greatly missed and we will all remember her in our hearts forever
We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for her life and for the opportunity to have shared it. Now hold fast to the hope of being reunited again in eternal glory through the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection.
Mary's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 am at New Beginnings Church of God located at 4770 Montgomery Blvd. NE, 87109. Service will begin at 11:00 am. Mary will be laid to rest following the Service at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery located at 700 Yale Blvd. SE, 87106.
